Director of Service, Education and Public Relations of the Tax Directorate General Hestu Yoga Saksama said that as of Sunday (4/9), repatriated funds from the tax amnesty program has reached Rp4.32 trillion or 2.6 percent of the targeted Rp165 trillion.
According to Hestu, the repatriated funds worth Rp3.57 trillion come from individual taxpayers who are not micro, small and medium enterprises and RP496 trillion come from legal entity taxpayers who are not micro, small and medium enterprises.
In the meantime, repatriated funds from individual taxpayers who are micro, small and medium enterprises reach Rp245 billion and legal entity taxpayers who are micro, small and medium enterprises Rp10 billion.
Hestu added the repatriated funds from the declaration and the repatriation have now reached Rp203.54 trillion.
“The funds come from 28,611 waivers,” said Hestu.
Tax amnesty program has been ongoing for six weeks since it was Launched on July 19. From the program, the government is targeting state revenue of Rp165 trillion in the 2016 revised State Budget.
