According to CNN, the armed man has been described as “unstable”, but there is no indication yet that he is linked to any terrorist organisation – however, police are yet to confirm more details. French authorities have been on high alert since a series of terror attacks have taken place over the last few years. In May, two people died and five were injured during a frenzied knife attack in Paris.
